Akamuti
Our name Akamuti is an African word taken from the Bemba language of Zambia. It has two meanings. It translates as 'Little Tree' or 'A Little Bit Of Medicine' It goes to show that in many parts of Africa, trees & medicine are one & are revered as powerful sources of healing. Tree ingredients are very important in our products & we feel that trees are not only essential for our health but also for the health of the whole planet. There is something here to keep everybody's skin happy! As we believe passionately in sustainable & ethical trading, we source as many fair trade ingredients as possible from vulnerable communities around the world. Our organic forest beeswax & honey is fairly traded with Miombo beekeepers in Zambia, helping to preserve tribal communities & the forests that they live in. Our wildcrafted shea butter is fairly traded with womens' co-operatives in Togo, helping to fund renewable energy projects & provide better amenities.

BoBelle
BoBelle was founded by Claire Watt-Smith in October 2007 with the vision to supply fashionable, affordable, functional, unique and high quality fashion accessories, baby clothes and gifts, all of which are produced under fair trade conditions. BoBelle have only a handful of meticulously sourced suppliers, all of whom carefully create their items to the highest standard. To the best of BoBelle’s knowledge, each one of their suppliers adopts this similar fair-trade attitude which comprises working under comfortable and safe working conditions, being paid at least the minimum wage and never negotiating on price. BoBelle supports both local and international artisans and consequently have developed strong and lasting relationships with each designer. As a result, each artisan is incredibly proud of their work and enjoys working under such reliable and safe working conditions.

Eco clothing
Eco Eco Ltd. was formed to take eco fashion to venues around the UK where customers could try on the clothes in comfortable and relaxing surroundings rather than having to purchase all their ethically and environmentally produced, organic clothing by mail order. However we soon realised that we needed a permanent base and where better than the village of Hope in the lovely Peak District in Derbyshire. We have two shops in the village - one sells our clothes range for men, women and children and the other has lovely things for the home and garden. We also trade online in order to reach customers in other areas.
