Fruit Passion
Fruit Passion works by agreeing prices at the high end of the market average for recent years in advance of the season. Cash payments can be spread over the season, and there is always an additional social fund payment on top of this, which goes to improve the community infrastructure in which the growers and their families live. Fairtrade products cost more and mean so much more. To choose the Fruit Passion juice, or any Fairtrade product, is to make a personal statement of goodwill. You show people who are vulnerable that they have unseen friends who wish them well . If you can afford to buy Fairtrade goods, we can only say that it is hard to overestimate the implications for our growers. Just knowing that there are people, ordinary people, who are willing to help you when you are vulnerable and powerless, changes your view of the future and its possibilities.

OKE smoothies
In order to make a delicious smoothie, our Fairtrade fruit has to embark on an international journey, starting with lots of sunshine. The OKE Fairtrade farmers wait until the fruit is perfectly sun-ripened, before hand-picking and boxing it up and delivering it to their local farm co-operative. From there the fruit is washed and sorted and anything that hasn't survived the journey is removed so only the finest, juiciest fruit goes into our smoothies. OKE smoothies are available in ASDA and other independent supermarkets from 22 September 2008.
